چکیده
Abstract Background Spinal osteoblastoma needs surgical intervention, and over a decade with advancing technologies, different radiological aids have been utilized in the form of CT scan, fluoroscopy O arm, but no study has compared its efficacy outcomes. Here, this case report three cases, we intra- post-operative course effectiveness modalities. Case presentation We reviewed surgically treated cases spinal aid generation modalities like C scan arm navigation span more than 10 years single institute by same surgeon. These 3 were assessed terms intraoperative parameters (image acquisition type, image display, time, bone quality, real-time imaging, radiation exposure, blood loss, complications others) (recovery, recurrence follow-up). First managed showed fluoroscopically acquired two-dimensional images, poor quality; higher time-surgical time loss exposure imaging. Second provided three-dimensional better lower increased transport minimum to surgeon OT personnel Third 3-dimensional best less Additionally, improved accuracy tumor localization confirmation complete excision. Whereas all clinico-radiological signs on subsequent follow-ups. Conclusion accuracy, excision, recovery makes it superior others.

Registration of 2D C-Arm and 3D CT Images for a C-Arm Image-Assisted Navigation System for Spinal Surgery
C-Arm image-assisted surgical navigation system has been broadly applied to spinal surgery. However, accurate path planning on the C-Arm AP-view image is difficult. This research studies 2D-3D image registration methods to obtain the optimum transformation matrix between C-Arm and CT image frames. Through the transformation matrix, the surgical path planned on preoperative CT images can be tran...
متن کاملCommentary: Utility of the O-Arm in spinal surgery
BACKGROUND More studies report the intraoperative benefits vs. risks of utilizing the O-Arm in performing pedicle screw insertion in spinal surgery. METHODS/RESULTS Several studies document the utility of CT-guided O-arm placement of pedicle/lateral mass screws. Singh et al. documented the efficacy of CT guided-O Arm placement of pedicle screws and lateral mass screws in the upper cervical sp...
متن کاملArthroscopic glenohumeral arthrodesis with o-arm navigation.
Glenohumeral arthrodesis is an end-stage salvage operation that has traditionally been performed in an open fashion. In recent years an arthroscopic approach has been described. The purpose of this report was to present an arthroscopic glenohumeral arthrodesis technique with the assistance of O-arm-based navigation. An illustrative case example is presented. This technique allows not only a min...

OBJECTIVE The authors performed a retrospective study to assess the accuracy and clinical benefits of a navigation coupled with O-arm® system guided method in the thoracic and lumbar spines by comparing with a C-arm fluoroscopy-guided method. METHODS Under the navigation guidance, 106 pedicle screws inserted from T7 to S1 in 24 patients, and using the fluoroscopy guidance, 204 pedicle screws ...
متن کاملCardiac C-Arm CT: Image-based Gating
Image guidance during cardiac interventional procedures (IP) using cardiac C-arm CT systems is desirable for many procedures. Applying the concept of retrospective electrocardiogram gating (ECG) to the acquisition of multiple, ECG-triggered rotational acquisitions using a C-arm system allows the 3D+t reconstruction of the heart. The process of retrospective gating is a crucial component of 3-D ...
